Kickboxing Instructor
Scott Canterbury has been training in martial arts since 2004, beginning under the instruction of Dr. Ian Marshall in Kickboxing and Inter Range Combatives. He later expanded his expertise through the U.S. Army's Modern Army Combatives Program, where he completed all four levels of certification and retired from military service as a Level IV Certified Tactical Combatives Instructor.
A seasoned martial artist and former MMA competitor, Scott tested his skills in the cage, earning recognition as the #4 ranked Light Heavyweight fighter in the Global Combat Alliance. His experience spans striking, combatives, and practical self-defense, providing students with a well-rounded and effective approach to training.
Scott is a member of the American Independent Karate/Kickboxing Instructors Association, holds the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt in Fears Combatives, and is a Certified Military Combatives Instructor through the Military Combatives Association. He is passionate about helping students develop confidence, technical skill, and the mindset necessary to succeed both on and off the mats.
